Introducing MINI MAKES with Agnis Smallwood

We’re delighted to launch the NEW MINI MAKE series of workshops with Agnis Smallwood, to help you get creative over lunchtime

These workshops are open to everyone, perhaps you’re working from home and would welcome a break between meetings, or you fancy the opportunity to natter with others while you craft. Whatever the reason, we hope you can join us virtually or one or more of these Zoom workshops.

How it will work:

-    Each week there will be a different workshop, make sure you have booked onto the workshop by the previous Thursday so there is time for the kits to be posted and arrive with you (for the workshop on 21st January, you would need to have booked your place by 14th January).

-    Each workshop is just 1 hour long so that hopefully they will fit into your lunchtime.

-    It is going to run for at least 4 weeks, you can join us for 1 or all of them it is entirely up to you!

-    You will receive the workshop kit of materials in the post and then the zoom link via the email you booked onto the workshop with so that you can learn how to use your materials just like if you were attending a class in person.

-    All the materials you will need will be in the kit apart from some equipment that can be found within the home for example scissors or a pencil.

-    The workshops will be very flexible, and I will be repeating the steps and top tips throughout the session. We know that everything is quite tricky at the moment! So if you arrive 10 minutes late or need to leave a bit early or each lunch at the same time it is all ok!

We’re delighted to launch our NEW Card Subscription Bundle

Every month we’ll send you 5 handpicked Birthday cards, all from our lovely indie suppliers, to ensure you never miss a birthday or an event and to help you keep in touch with friends and family throughout the year.

We’ll send the cards out to you in time for the beginning of each month. Each bundle will be made up of 5 individual Birthday cards. If you want to include a specific card, such as for a child’s birthday, a specific age card or an important occasion then just let us know at least a few days before the bundle is due.

Each subscription bundle contains 5 cards and will be posted 1st class to you. You’ll also receive a FREE card with your 1st month’s subscription.

Please note that the cards may differ from the photo shown but will be just as lovely!

Our Christmas opening times

We’re here a much as we can be to help you finish (or start!) your Christmas shopping.

We’ll be open 9:30 - 5:30 Monday - Saturday, until 7pm on Thursday and 11 - 3 on Sunday.

We’ll be Open until about 1pm on Christmas Eve or until the last customer!

After that we’re taking a little break until Tuesday 5th January 2021

Our website will still be Open for orders and we’ll be posting things out and doing some local deliveries too.

JUST A CARD INDIE WEEK

from 23 - 27 November 2020

It’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate and support artists, makers, independent shops& small businesses, who need your help more so than ever.

So what will we be doing during this week long event?

• Learn more about Chirpy : every day we’ll be posting on social media using the Just a Card prompts.

• All week if you buy from Chirpy online you’ll be entered into a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a £25 Chirpy voucher - every order will be an entry

• Buy a Christmas card bundle during Indie Week and get an extra card, making it a bundle of 6

• We’ll be highlighting a different indie business each day to help promote businesses too

• We WON’T be doing any Black Friday offers. Like many of our fellow indie businesses we believe that Black Friday is more aimed at the big corporate businesses, giving you a chance to get a discount on that large electrical item you’ve always wanted, rather than save a few pounds on a pair of earrings!

• However we WILL be donating 10% of our sales from Friday 27th November to Haven Breast Cancer charity, a charity very close to my heart.

• During November, if you’ve been signed up to our newsletter then you’ll have had a discount code to use all month. We’ll be sending out another newsletter, to offer you the chance to still get a discount, albeit slightly smaller, and we’ll donate the rest of the discount you would have had to Haven Breast Cancer. If you don’t get the newsletter then sign just email me here by Sunday 22nd November and I’ll add you to the list
