Chapel Allerton Indie Trail 27th November - 7th December

Chirpy is delighted to be part of the first Chapel Allerton Indie Trail

So what’s it all about?

From Friday 29th November until Saturday 7th December 30 businesses in Chapel Allerton are working together to help you shop local and support independents

All you have to do is pick up a map at one of the participating businesses and when you buy something from one of them you’ll receive a stamp on your map. Collect 7 stamps to be entered into prize draw to win £150 worth of vouchers from the participating local independent businesses. Just had your map with at least 7 stamps, with your details, to one of the businesses to be entered into the prize draw.

If you complete 7 stamps you can even pick up another map and start again

We’re excited to be having a stall on Sunday 24th November at the Leeds Winter Market at New Dock Hall from 10:30am - 5:30pm

This is Leeds largest independent Winter Maker with over 100 stalls from the best local designer-makers, homewares, artists, florists, vintage, kidaswear, artisan food, street food, jewellery & more!

There’ll be a kids area and workshops too!

We’ll be taking a little bit of Yorkshire to the market - come and visit us for a gorgeous range of illustrated Leeds & Yorkshire maps, prints, mugs, tea towels and a few other lovely yorkshire made treats!

3rd Chirpyversary - what we've got going on?!

To celebrate my 3rd CHIRPYVERSARY we're celebrating all things workshops on Saturday 9th November

Between 11am - 4pm we're hosting a Drop-in workshop with @agnissmallwood where you'll get to weave your own wall art.

There will be lots of materials to experiment with
and use within your work as well as a rainbow of different colours to choose from.

You know how much we LOVE running our workshops at Chirpy and from the feedback we get from your customers, you love them too. So to celebrate 3 years at Chirpy we’re launching our Workshop Loyalty Card to coincide with our Chirpyversary on 8th & 9th November.

Everytime you join us for a workshop you’ll get a stamp and once you’ve collected 8 you’ll get your 9th workshop for FREE! This just applies to workshops which are featured on the Chirpy eventbrite page.

To launch it we’re running a drop in workshop on Saturday 9th November from 11am - 4pm with Agnis Smallwood - come along and do a bit of hand weaving with her. Suitable for all ages and no experience necessary. It’s only £3 for Adults & £2 for children and all adults will get their 1st stamp on a loyalty card.

Between 8th - 10th Nov we’ll also be offering £5 Off when you book on one of our workshops

So if you havent been to a workshop at Chirpy before why not come along on Saturday for a taster, or book on one to see what all the fuss is about. If you’re a regular workshop attendee then come along and pick up your loyalty card, which hopefully you’ll all up quickly!

Rad Union will be popping up at Chirpy this Saturday

On Saturday 2nd Nov we’re delighted to welcome Rad Union to Chirpy, bringing their amazing shopping trolleys to the people of Chapel Allerton.

Kerrie and Rich, Leeds founders of Rad Union love a good market, the odd food festival and a quirky indie trader. Their love of shopping trolleys is unrivalled and their passion for art and style is clear to see in their bag designs. The Rad Union trolley is hand built in their Leeds studio.

On Saturday you’ll be able to see & buy their fantastic quirky designs, there’ll be discounts and of course Fizz! No need to book just come along between 2pm - 5pm.

We can’t wait for this collaboration, supporting another local business get off the ground and bringing amazing sustainable products to Chirpy!
