Run by Cherry Tree Glass, an experienced glass fuser, our Fused Glass Workshops have proved really popular and we’re delighted to welcome back Claire with 4 autumnal creative workshops.

Perfect for beginners, or if you’ve been to one of her workshops before then why not join us again to creative something new.

1. Fused Glass Autumn Picture

In this workshop you creative your very own autumn themed picture using colourful glass pieces which will be mounted on a wooden stand.

2. Fused Glass Trick or Treat Pumpkin

Join us for a bit of Halloween fun to create your own fused glass gothic or autumnal hanging pumpkin.

3. Fused Glass Winter Fireplace

Create your own winter tea light holder with a fireside scene, glowing from the flickering tea light.

It’s the time again!!

Our Paper Cut Christmas Baubles of areas in North Leeds area always a sell out so this year we’re letting your PRE ORDER them!

This really helps us, and Bethanie who hand cuts ever one, to manage how many to make and make sure we have enough

Due to the rise in materials the bauble this year will be £9 however if you PRE ORDER before 1st September you can buy them at the original price of £7.50

Mizz Knits Popping Up in Chirpy : Saturday 4th December

On Saturday 4th December the wonderful MissKnits will be popping up in Chirpy will all her wooly wares!

Mizz runs regular Arm Knitting workshops at Chirpy and on Saturday she’ll be bringing lots of her beautiful blankets, cushions and Christmas goodies!

Mizz will be upstairs at Chirpy from 12pm so pop in and say Hi!

Leeds Winter Market Sunday 5th December

We’re delighted to be taking part in this year’s Leeds Winter Market on Sunday 5th December at New Dock Hall, Leeds

Leed’s biggest independent winter market returns this year with over 100 carefully curated independent designers and makers, Including Chirpy - the perfect place to start (or finish) your Christmas shopping

We’ll be taking a section of Yorkshire themed goodies, including prints, baubles, mugs and chocolate! Lots of perfect gifts & stocking fillers

Chapel Allerton Living Advent 2021!

1st December sees the beginning of the Living Advent in Chapel Allertopn

Over 50 shops, businesses and home will be taking part and lighting up their windows, to celebrate Advent and the run up to Christmas

The 1st December sees 10 of our wonderful indie shops, including Chirpy, light up their windows from 6pm

Huge thanks to Sarah Thornton for doing our Discoball Christmas themed window this year - we hope you love it.

Check out the other shops involved including Armadillo, Katie and May and The Refilling Station

Pick up a map at any of the participating businesses and follow the trail

Once you’ve admired the wonderful windows why not head to St Matthew’s Church to explore a festive oudoor display created by Chapel Allerton Arts Festival using recycled materials.
